I’ve spent the past five Saturdays catching up with girlfriends – fully embracing Gotta Love Chevy missions via the Northeastern Ohio Chevy Dealers. This past Saturday, the other December Chevy Girls – Alana from The Dawg’s Dish and Katie from Healthy Heddleston – and I met up to chat about our love of our new rides. And in usual Tuesday fashion, I’d like to share:
TEN THINGS PHOTOS THIS TUESDAY: THE TALE OF THE UNITING OF THE NEO CHEVY GIRLS
Once upon a time, a bossy social planner reached out to her fellow Chevy girls and asked if they wanted to gather up for an official meeting. The lovely ladies agreed. As the planner always overestimates the amount of time it takes to get from Parma to Tremont, she arrived early at The SouthSide and started checking out the menu.
As she narrowed down all the tasty selections, her fellow Chevy girls parked their Cruzes next to hers:
Once all in the restaurant, they checked out the specials of the day and wondered what exactly went into the Reindeer Stew. The bossy planner also noted the chorizo pierogies for her hubby for future visits.
The ladies ordered and chatted while waiting for their food to arrive. They talked about their love of the Bluetooth hands free calling, the OnStar service, the heated seats and more. The chatter only continued as they enjoyed their lunches:
Their taste buds delighted and their bellies full, the gals were ready to tackle the remainder of the afternoon. On their way out the restaurant, the hostess kindly obliged the planner’s request to take a group photo:
On the way to their cars, they remembered to take advantage of the remote start option (did you check out my blog on this feature over at the Gotta Love Chevy NEO site?!):
Katie couldn’t resist taking a picture with Tommy, her Cruze. (Get it? Tommy Cruze? Moving on…)
The crazy planner did the same, deciding to get a bit closer to her nameless car:
Alas, it was time to leave, so the girls decided to come together one last time before hitting the road:
Just another day in the lives of the December NEO Chevy girls!
How do you find time to spend time with friends during the busy holiday season? Do you schedule fun get togethers like shopping dates and treat swaps? Or do you just promise to regroup in the new year?
Disclosure: The Girlfriend Getaway program is being sponsored by Northeastern Ohio Area Chevy Dealers who are giving me a 2011 Chevy Cruze to test drive for one month and blog about my experience. Through this program, I will be asked to complete missions, and will be provided with gift cards to do so. My thoughts and opinions are my own.
